Boards Commissions

Current Term of Service: March 26, 2018 - March 25, 2019

Appointment of members of these Citizen Boards and Commission is one of the important responsibilities of your Council. Tenure of service is limited to one (1) year with the provision that an individual may be reappointed annually up to a maximum of eight (8) years of consecutive service, excepting Youth Commission service, which is limited to a maximum of four (4) consecutive years. All Boards and Committees are non-compensatory.

If you are interested in serving on a City Board, Committee, or Commission, please fill out the Civic Service Application Form. Every Application will be given careful consideration. However, there is no guarantee that all who apply will be appointed. Additionally, each application will be kept on file for a minimum of two (2) years or until the applicant is appointed, whichever occurs first. Once an applicant is appointed, his or her application becomes a permanent City Record.
