Water Playground

Admissions to the Water Playground is FREE!!! For safety precautions admission may be limited based on capacity standards and admission will be allowed on a first come-first served basis. In the event we experience EXTREME HEAT the Water Playground will be opened for cooling. Please call 626.570.5063 on extreme heat days to ask about the status. 



A terrific activity for Adults 18+ of all ability who want a low impact aerobic program that is perfect for trimming and toning. No swimming ability is required and exercise equipment is provided for your convenience. MONTHLY MINIMUM SIGN-UP MUST BE MET TO HOLD THE CLASS!!!

This program is for youth 18 years and under who would like to enjoy the fun of competition and individual growth. Workouts will concentrate on strokes and skills for novice swimmers. Participants tryout with coach prior to the beginning of each workout. Participants at the novice level must be able to swim four lengths of a 25-yard pool using basic competitive stokes. Team fee is $67.50 per month and due on the first week of each month. Practices are Thursday 4-5:30pm (Alhambra Pool) and Saturday/Sunday 9:30-11am (Granada Pool.)


This certification course meets California public safety lifeguard requirements. The certifications enables participants to apply for California non-surf lifeguard jobs. It is a required course for municipal lifeguard applicants. the course fee does not include the text. Prerequisites: 16+ years, 500 yard swim using crawl, breaststroke, elementary backstroke, and side stroke; deep water retrieval; 15 yard underwater swim; and tread water (legs only) for two minutes. The lifeguard Training-CPR-First Aid and AED Certificates will be issued to all successful candidates.

LOCATION/DATES: Granada Park Pool ( Saturday's - January 13 - April 21, 2018 - 8:30 am - 3:30 pm with a 45-minutes break)

COST: $110.00/15 week course Plus a $35.00/ certification fee for successful candidates
